How it works
We offer a Free Initial Consultation
We must assess your situation and collect your information at the beginning of your treatment. We will also be available to answer any questions you might have. Then, if all goes well, we can schedule your visits.
We provide Free Insurance coverage verification
We will verify your coverage before any treatment. This way, you will know your financial responsibilities and options. Also, how many treatments may be included, and what is your co-payment
This is a part of our great service.
For your convenience, please have your insurance information ready when booking an appointment.
At the initial appointment, I will take the necessary steps to become fully informed about your circumstances. Additionally, I will perform a physical examination that will include evaluating various factors, like:
- Aches and pains in your body that can sometimes be unbearable.
- The color of your face, also the shape, coating, and color of your tongue.
- The rhythm and quality of the pulse in your wrist.
Based on the data gathered, I will suggest a treatment plan tailored to your health issue and estimate the required number and frequency of appointments.
The length of acupuncture sessions can vary from as short as a few minutes to 60 minutes in length. Typically, a patient will receive 6-8 treatments for a few weeks, with appointments spaced out weekly. However, sessions may be adjusted depending on the specific illness and its severity.
The typical treatment process involves the insertion of five to twenty needles. In addition, I may rotate or apply heat or electric stimulation to the surrounding area to strengthen its effect.
While in the office, patients rest on a massage table in a dimly lit and calming atmosphere, often feeling so relaxed that they fall asleep!

How much Acupuncture cost?
Does acupuncture hurt?
Talk to your therapist about what to expect and discuss any concerns about the procedure before the treatment begins.
Is acupuncture safe?
Needling is the most common technique used to stimulate acupoints. Needles are exceptionally thin and rounded-edge, so they can’t cut your skin; they’re also sterile, disposable, so avoiding any risk of infection.
Does acupuncture have any side effects?
Unlike conventional Western Medicine, alternative Medicine is designed to work according to nature. By enhancing all body functions, it activates the immune system response; therefore, the healing process comes from inside your body.
This natural and non-invasive treatment provides an analgesic and sedating effect to help pain release, also minimal or non-existent side effects compared to prescribed medications.
How long do treatments last? How many sessions will I need?
At Sanar Healing, the first visit consists of evaluating your current condition, diagnosis, and herbal formulas to suggest for an individualized treatment plan. Then we'll discuss with you the method, frequency, and the number of sessions that can better suit your needs and expectations.
What is the best type of acupuncture for me?
Our healing techniques may include Cupping, Moxibustion, Tuina massage, Gua Sha, and Herbal Prescription; also the use of non-invasive tools like energy amplifiers, magnets, and colored-light.
When looking for Acupuncture in Weston, Pembroke Pines, Cooper City, or Plantation, we offer you customized treatments.
